Most international activity sites treat UPI as an afterthought, if they support it at all. You get a card form built for a European traveller, an international transaction that your bank may decline, a currency conversion you did not choose, and a foreign transaction fee you discover on your statement two days later. For a family booking forty thousand rupees of experiences, that is real money and real friction.

At OUTLYY, UPI is the default. It sits at the top of the payment step with the largest tap target, because it is what most of our customers actually use. You scan or enter your UPI ID, approve in your own app, and the booking is confirmed against the rupee amount you already saw, not a dirham amount converted at whatever rate your card issuer felt like applying that day.

The rest of the Indian payment stack is here too. Credit and debit cards from Indian banks, netbanking across the major banks, wallets, and EMI on orders above ₹15,000, which matters for the family bookings that run past thirty or forty thousand rupees. For orders above ₹25,000 on eligible experiences we also offer a deposit: thirty percent now to hold the booking, the balance seven days before you travel. That is a genuine option, not an upsell, and it exists because a large family booking made eight weeks ahead should not require the entire amount up front.

Payment is handled entirely by a PCI-compliant gateway. Card details never touch our servers, and we do not store them unless you explicitly choose to save a method for faster repeat booking. If a payment fails, and UPI occasionally does, usually a bank timeout rather than anything you did, your booking is preserved exactly as you left it, the failure reason is shown in plain language rather than an error code, and you can retry with a different method or hand the whole thing to a WhatsApp agent who will send you a payment link.

Vouchers arrive the moment payment clears. For instant-confirmation experiences, which is most attraction tickets and many tours, the QR voucher reaches WhatsApp in under a minute, and also lands in your email and your OUTLYY account. For experiences that need the operator to confirm, you get a status message within five minutes and the confirmed voucher within two hours, with an automatic escalation to our operations team if that deadline is missed.
